TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
The flight over Antarctica is with
Qantas. There are expert Antarctic expeditioner’s onboard to talk on the polar
environment and history, video screenings depict life on the ground and a camera
on the flight deck gives you a pilot’s eye view of magnificent plateaux, vast
mountain ranges and expanses of permanent ice. The flight is approximately 12
hours with about 3 to 4 hours flying time over the stunning Antarctic region.
The aircraft will fly in ‘figure 8’s’ over various points of interest to allow
