As a thank you for travelling with O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours, you will automatically receive a saving on the total tour price for your second and subsequent tours.


O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours will match single travellers who wish to twin share with another single traveller of the same gender.

However, if this is not possible, in most cases you shall be provided with single accommodation at the twin share fare

(no additional cost).


If you are willing to twin share but are a smoker, have a CPAP machine or snore, you will need to pay a single supplement for a sole use room.

​O'Shanessy's Quality Tours are now providing travel insurance through Nib Insurance.


Travel insurance is not compulsory, however the Australian Government (see www.smarttraveller.gov.au) recommends all travellers no matter where you are going, obtain comprehensive travel insurance from a reputable provider at the time the balance of the tour is to be paid. It may enable you to claim back the cost of your tour if you are unable to travel or must cancel at late notice.

  • DAY 1: FRIDAY 4TH DECEMBER, 2026

    MELBOURNE TO BRISBANE


    Welcome to our 3-day tour to experience the unforgettable performance of Carreras and Friends at the Gabba in Brisbane. With chauffeured pickup from home, we are transferred to Melbourne Airport. Here we’ll meet our O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours Tour Director, who will assist us with check in and will be with us throughout the tour. Upon arrival in Brisbane, we board a local tour coach and experience the best views of Brisbane from the Mount Coot-tha Lookout.  After a great introduction to the beauty of Brisbane city, we head to our hotel where we have time to relax and refresh before dinner.

  • DAY 2: SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER, 2026

    EXPLORING BRISBANE AND CARRERAS & FRIENDS!


    Today we enjoy a sightseeing tour around Brisbane. With a sub-tropical climate, gardens and parks and an ever-changing contemporary skyline, Brisbane is a great place to visit. Mid morning, we arrive at the Cultural Centre Pontoon to join River City Cruises for a morning tea cruise on the Brisbane River. Sit back and relax as our captain will give an informative commentary while we cruise past Brisbane’s most iconic sights including the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, City Centre and the Story Bridge. After a pleasant morning upon the water, we visit the IndigiScapes Centre. Upon arrival we enjoy lunch followed by a guided tour of the Native Botanic Gardens. Our passionate guide will highlight the rich diversity of Australian native flora, bush tucker plants and pass on to us a rich insight into the region’s natural heritage.  Afterwards we return to our hotel to refresh, enjoy an early dinner before our spectacular evening out at the Gabba Stadium for a night of musical collaboration!  Quintessential Queensland presents Carreras & Friends! Inspired by the iconic Pavarotti & Friends concerts, this large-scale production unites opera, pop and contemporary music in a seamless evening of duets, solo performances and surprise collaborations. Backed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and choir, Carreras leads a continuously evolving live journey under the Brisbane sky, transforming The Gabba into a world-class open-air concert!

  • DAY 3: SUNDAY 6TH DECEMBER, 2026

    BRISBANE TO MELBOURNE


    After our wonderful evening last night, enjoying the amazing talents on stage, we have a relaxed morning before discovering that this city has a rich history and a thriving arts scene. Heading to New Farm, we visit the renovated Brisbane Powerhouse. Discover its fascinating history, from the late 1920s, when the Brisbane Powerhouse supplied electricity for Brisbane’s tramway system, to the period from the 1970s to the early 2000s, when underground artists, performers and homeless people inhabited the ruins. Today, the building hosts more than 1,250 performances and events each year, featuring a diverse program of festivals, visual arts, music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, conversations and digital arts. Following our tour, we head to the airport for our flight back to Melbourne. Upon arrival, our chauffeurs will be waiting to take us straight to our door—a delightful way to conclude our time away and all part of the great O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours service.

For Victorian passengers not within this pick up zone, or our interstate passengers a quote can be provided for home pickup in extended areas.

If a tour is cancelled for any reason by O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours before the departure date, all passengers will be offered the option of transferring to another tour of their choice, hold the funds in trust for a future tour or a full refund.
