O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours will match single travellers who wish to twin share with another single traveller of the same gender.

However, if this is not possible, you will need to pay the single room supplement.


If you are willing to twin share but are a smoker, have a CPAP machine or snore, you will need to pay a single supplement for a sole use room.

ITINERARY

  • DAY 1: MONDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

    MELBOURNE TO SAMOA


    Welcome to our holiday to discover the beauty of Samoa. With chauffeured pickup from home, we travel to Melbourne Airport. Here we’ll be greeted by an O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours Director who will assist us with check in and travel with us onto the plane for our flight to Brisbane. Upon our arrival, we make our way to the Brisbane International Terminal where we depart on our overnight Qantas flight to Samoa.

  • DAY 2: TUESDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

    TOWN TOUR AND ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON MUSEUM


    After arriving at the Samoa Airport, we are greeted with a fresh flower Ula and transferred to our accommodation at Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, our home for the next two nights. Located just a few minutes away from Apia’s central business district, the hotel is an inner-city oasis, sitting within 6 hectares of lush, tropical gardens.  Tanoa Tusitala pays homage to its heritage through Samoan carvings, artwork and architecture. Once you have settled in, you may wish to enjoy some breakfast in the restaurant which is open until 10.00am. We have some time to unpack and have a rest before, late morning, we depart on a tour of the town area, the markets and then proceed to lunch and an Elei making demonstration at Pacific Jewel Café. After lunch, we visit the Bahai Centre followed by a visit to Robert Louis Stevensons home and museum. Tonight, we will be dining inhouse and some of us may like to get to bed early.

  • DAY 3: WEDNESDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

    SOUTH COAST TOUR


    After a relaxed breakfast, we depart on our full day tour of the South Coast. From town we head out along the coast to Falefa Falls, then through the Le Mafa Pass to Lalomanu Beach, where we will have lunch and a leisurely swim before moving on to To Sua Ocean Trench, then Sopoaga Falls, Togitogiga Falls. After some amazing sightseeing, we head back on the cross-island road to our hotel. Tonight, we will enjoy a Fiafia night with island dancing and dinner at the hotel.

  • DAY 4: THURSDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

    SAVAII, AFA AAU WATERFALL & BLOWHOLES


    We will enjoy our buffet breakfast at the hotel this morning, before we check out of Tanoa and transfer from the hotel to the ferry wharf. On arrival in Savaii; Samoa’s largest island, we will travel to collect our packed lunches and head on to Afu Aau Waterfalls and the Alofaaga Blowholes, before moving to our accommodation for the next three nights at Amoa Resort. Dinner will be enjoyed in-house this evening.

  • DAY 5: FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

    WESTERN SAVAII


    Today we head to the peninsula at the Western end of the island. Enroute we will visit the Saleaula Lava Fields and see the virgins grave and ruins of the old church, before heading further along the coast to Falealupo. We enjoy lunch at the Vaisala Hotel and then go to the peninsula, where we will visit the ancient Star mound, the canopy tree walk and also see Moso’s footprint and the house of rock. Dinner will be in-house this evening.

  • DAY 6: SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

    HALF DAY TOUR


    We enjoy a relaxed breakfast this morning, as we have a morning at leisure. This afternoon our guide will pick us up and we will enjoy a half day tour in the afternoon. Later, dinner will be at our hotel this evening.

  • DAY 7: SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

    LOCAL CHURCH SERVICE


    Sunday is a day of church and rest, so after breakfast, we will attend a local church service, before we depart for the wharf at 11:30am. A cut lunch will be prepared by the hotel, so we can enjoy this on the ferry ride back to Upolu. Upon our arrival, we transfer to Tanoa Tusitala Hotel for the remaining two nights of our tour. Dinner will be in-house this evening.

  • DAY 8: MONDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER, 2026

    IFIELE’ELE PLANTATION


    After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we are collected at 10:30am and transferred to Ifiele’ele Plantation for our tour of the plantation. Following the tour, we indulge in a light lunch before heading back to town. The remainder of the day is at leisure. You may like to walk to the shops to do some shopping or catch a local bus from the bus depot to the markets for some last-minute souvenir shopping. Tonight, we depart the hotel at 6:00pm, as we enjoy our farewell dinner at Sails Restaurant.

  • DAY 9: TUESDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER, 2026

    SAMOA TO MELBOURNE


    Sadly, our last day has arrived. We have an early start to the morning with a 5am transfer to Faleolo International Airport where we check-in for our Qantas flight back to 

    Brisbane. Upon arrival at Brisbane International Terminal, we collect our luggage and clear customs. We then make our way to the Domestic Terminal to connect with our flight back to Melbourne. As usual, our chauffeurs will be waiting to transport us home with many interesting  stories to tell of beautiful Samoa.

Victorian passengers from Greater Melbourne, Bendigo, Torquay, Ballarat, Geelong, the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, Phillip Island and selected areas of Gippsland will be picked up from home in a private chauffeured vehicle by one of our professional drivers.

For Victorian passengers not within this pick up zone, or our interstate passengers a quote can be provided for home pickup in extended areas.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY


Receipt of payment of funds will be taken as acceptance of O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours conditions of travel for this tour.

Prices include GST and all taxes.


Deposit is fully refundable until 101 days prior to departure date.

Balance due on invoice approximately 100 days prior to departure.
