As a thank you for travelling with O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours, you will automatically receive a saving on the total tour price for your second and subsequent tours.

 

O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours will match single travellers who wish to twin share with another single traveller of the same gender.

However, if this is not possible, you will need to pay the Single Room Supplement.


If you are willing to twin share but are a smoker, have a CPAP machine or snore, you will need to pay a single supplement for a sole use room.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is not compulsory, however the Australian Government (see www.smarttraveller.gov.au) recommends all travellers no matter where you are going, obtain comprehensive travel insurance from a reputable provider at the time the balance of the tour is to be paid. It may enable you to claim back the cost of your tour if you are unable to travel or must cancel at late notice.

  • DAY 1: Sunday 6th June, 2027

    MELBOURNE TO CALOUNDRA


    Welcome to our holiday to South East Queensland. With chauffeured pickup from home, we travel to Melbourne Airport. Here we’ll be greeted by an O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours representative who will assist us with check in, and see us onto the plane for our direct flight to the Sunshine Coast. Upon our arrival, we will be welcomed by our coach crew who will assist us with our luggage before we board the coach for a relaxing drive to our accommodation at Caloundra. We will arrive in time to explore the resort and unpack before our first dinner together.

  • DAY 2: Monday 7th June, 2027

    GINGER FACTORY AND NOOSA RIVER CRUISE


    After breakfast, we take a guided tour around the Ginger Factory. See how ginger is grown, harvested, and turned into a delicious range of ginger products. Finish the tour with a tasting and discover why they produce the world’s finest ginger! We then drive to Noosa where we take a lunch cruise on the beautiful Noosa River. Enjoy the sights of spectacular waterfront homes and wonderful scenery along its shores. We now have some free time in Hastings Street, Noosa, a vibrant and iconic destination, known for its mix of beachside luxury and laidback holiday vibes. It’s the heart of Noosa Heads and offers a wonderful blend of resorts, cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques and more. Enjoy some free time before we return to the

    Resort.

  • DAY 3: Tuesday 8th June, 2027

    CABOOLTURE TO O’REILLY’S RAINFOREST RETREAT


    This morning we head south stopping at Caboolture Historical Village, where we travel back to an era before computers and air conditioners, and when milk was delivered to your door. Enjoy time exploring the village and immerse yourself in the past. From here we make our way to the Lamington National Park. Our next stop is at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards where we enjoy some local wine and lunch. Spend some time enjoying the Alpaca Farm and gift shop, before we depart for our adventure up the range to O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. Upon arrival, we have a Managers welcome before unpacking for the next three nights. While staying at O’Reilly’s, all meals are included, along with a selection of beer or wine served with dinner. You'll also enjoy a range of guided walks and 4WD tours each day, allowing you to experience the beauty of the rainforest. Feel free to do all the walks, or you may choose to relax around the resort. The itinerary may change slightly due to weather conditions. Don’t forget to pack your walking shoes, raincoat and warm jacket as the nights can be cool.

  • DAY 4: Wednesday 9th June, 2027

    EXPLORING LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK


    For the early risers, there's an opportunity to enjoy a guided morning bird walk before breakfast. This morning we take a relaxing 4WD tour to a breathtaking lookout, where Billy Tea and freshly baked damper are prepared over an open fire. After lunch, enjoy the fascinating Birds of Prey show before spending some free time exploring the well-marked walking trails, breathing in the crisp mountain air and soaking up the beauty of the surrounding rainforest. Don't miss the famous Tree Top Walk, featuring nine suspension bridges suspended up to 16 metres above the rainforest floor, culminating in a spectacular viewing platform 30 metres high within the canopy of a magnificent fig tree. Late this afternoon, we head to a nearby remote location for a memorable Sunset Experience, complete with beer and wine, before returning to the Retreat for dinner.

  • DAY 5: Thursday 10th June, 2027

    O’REILLY’S RAINFOREST RETREAT


    There’s another opportunity to join the early morning bird walk before breakfast if you wish. Today we experience the "Best of O'Reilly's by 4WD. This guided two-hour adventure takes us deep into the rainforest to discover hidden lookouts, ancient trees and native wildlife, while our knowledgeable guide shares fascinating stories about the region’s history, geology and the O’Reilly family legacy. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy more of O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. Choose from a selection of short walking trails or take part in a Wildlife Encounter, where you can experience the magic of Australia’s unique native wildlife up close.

  • DAY 6: Friday 11th June, 2027

    GALLERY WALK AND OUTBACK SPECTACULAR


    We have our last chance to join the early morning bird walk before breakfast, then it’s time to pack our bags for the next stopover. We farewell O’Reilly’s and make our way to Mount Tamborine to enjoy some “shopping time” at the well-known Gallery Walk with over 70 speciality shops in one block! After lunch, we head to the coast and our accommodation in the heart of Surfers Paradise for the next two nights. This evening, we are off to the amazing Australian Outback Spectacular dinner show. Filled with outback music, drama and action – a night you will never forget. It captures the grandeur of the Australian outback, bringing it to life with spectacular audio and visual effects never before seen in a live show.

  • DAY 7: Saturday 12th June, 2027

    EXPLORING SURFERS PARADISE


    We’re in for a bit of fun this morning as we hop on the Gold Coast Duck bus and boat for an enjoyable city sightseeing tour before heading towards the seaway for the sights of Gold Coast’s stunning waterways and million dollar mansions. Our next stop is SkyPoint Observation Deck which offers panoramic views of the Gold Coast. It is 270m above sea level, located on top of the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise. After our morning adventure, we have the afternoon free to explore Surfers Paradise. You may like to relax at the world famous Surfers Paradise beach, stroll along the Esplanade or discover the bustling Cavill Avenue, with its array of shops, cafes, and street performers.

  • DAY 8: Sunday 13th June, 2027

    GOLD COAST TO MELBOURNE


    Completing our memorable tour of this naturally beautiful part of southeast Queensland, we are transferred to the local Gold Coast Airport for our return flight to Melbourne. Upon arrival, our chauffeurs will be waiting to transport us safely home with many interesting stories to tell of our Queensland adventure.

Complimentary Chauffeur Driven Transfers
Victorian passengers from Greater Melbourne, Bendigo, Torquay, Ballarat, Geelong, the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, Phillip Island and selected areas of Gippsland will be picked up and returned home in a private chauffeured vehicle by one of our professional drivers. For passengers not within this pick up zone, or our interstate passengers, a quote can be provided for home pickup in extended areas.

Luxury Touring Coaches

Our full size, luxury coaches have only 32-36 passenger seats allowing you even more personal space and extra leg room. Our coaches are fitted with comfortable reclining seats with aisle arm rests, foot rests, seat belts, panoramic windows with blinds, refrigerator for passenger use, restroom, climate control air conditioning and Road Cam monitors which display the road ahead in real time. Each coach has a second door for easier entry and exit and touchless hand sanitizer dispensers at each entry to help keep everyone safe. Our coaches have full air suspension delivering a smooth and

quiet ride which also allows us to lower the coach closer to the ground, making boarding and disembarking even easier.

Receipt of payment of funds will be taken as acceptance of O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours conditions of travel for this tour.

Prices include GST and all taxes.


Deposit is fully refundable until 61 days prior to departure date.

Cancellation within 60 days of tour departure date: No refund

Cancellation on or after tour departure date: No refund


If a tour is cancelled for any reason by O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours before the departure date, all passengers will be offered the option of transferring to another tour of their choice, hold the funds in trust for a future tour or a full refund. There is no time limit as to when this must be used.
